What changed

Building software got cheap.
Owning it got expensive.

Anyone can ship something that looks finished now. A weekend, a prompt, a deploy button. That part is solved.

What isn't solved: who fixes it at 2am. Who knows why the data model is shaped like that. Who answers the security questionnaire when your first enterprise customer sends one. Who tells you the honest cost of the feature you just asked for.

The market has thousands of people who will build you something. It has very few who will still be standing behind it in year three.

That's the job we do. And almost nobody else will sign their name to it.

The bill always arrives. It's just never on the invoice you were expecting.

Watch

You can't change it

Someone asks to edit a headline. It needs a developer and a deploy. Every small change costs four days.

~$4,000/month in developer time for changes that should cost nothing

Fail

Nobody can see it

Beautiful site, no traffic, a contact form that shows a success message and delivers nothing.

Every lead you generated this year. You’ll never know how many.

Fail

It can't pass a question

First enterprise deal. They ask how auth works, where data lives, who has access. The room goes quiet.

One lost enterprise contract, usually the biggest one you had

Fail

It has no owner

Built by someone who's gone. It runs. Nobody knows how.

$50,000–$500,000 to rebuild, during your busiest week

Every one of these is cheap to prevent and brutal to fix. The gap between the two is the entire reason this company exists.

Four guarantees. Every reason to say no, gone.

①

The verdict guarantee

Three risks you didn't know, or the report's free and yours to keep.

②

The ship-date guarantee

We agree a date in writing. Miss it, every week late is free.

③

The scope-lock guarantee

We agree scope in writing before we start. Anything added later is quoted separately, your price never moves for someone else's scope creep.

④

The never-hostage guarantee

You own the code, the repo and the infrastructure from day one. Leave whenever you like and take everything with you.

We carry the risk so you don't have to. That's not generosity, it's what being accountable actually costs, and almost nobody else will sign it.

Witsberry didn't just build something that worked; Rikaz told me what features not to build, which saved me weeks of wasted development. Conversions jumped 60%+, we hit 18% monthly growth, and the ongoing support has been incredible.

We run two businesses under one roof, textile wholesale and a hotel. Witsberry architected it as a multi-tenant platform from day one, not just a custom tool for us, but something that can onboard other businesses when we’re ready.

The Delivery Guarantee sold me. If they didn't ship on time, they'd keep working for free. They shipped early. But what impressed me more was the strategic input, they convinced me to cut half my feature list and focus on what actually drives revenue.

Witsberry built us a full ERP system that handles inventory, orders and finances in one place, plus a separate e-commerce brand pulling from the same stock. No double-entry, no management overhead.

90 days, $18,000 fixed

from $2,400/mo, first 90 days free

12 checks against the WB-12 standard. Written report, risk ranking, straight verdict on what needs doing, and how much. Including, often, less than you feared. Three risks you didn't know about, or you keep the report for nothing.

Date agreed in writing before a line is written. Scope locked. First working software in 14 days, not 14 weeks. If we miss the agreed date, every week late is free.

We operate it after launch. Monitoring, security patching, dependency upgrades, incident response, compliance evidence kept current, and a monthly CTO review where we tell you what's coming before it arrives. Cancel any month and take everything with you.

Rikaz Zarook, Founder & CTO of Witsberry

You're not hiring a company. You're hiring a person who signs their name to it.

I'm Rikaz Zarook. Thirteen years in software, 50+ products shipped for operators and founders from first revenue to Series B. I started Witsberry because I kept getting the same call: "It was working. Now nobody knows how it works." The build was never the hard part. Standing behind the build, for years, when it's inconvenient, that's the part almost nobody sells. So that's what we sell.

Rikaz Zarook

Founder & CTO, personally accountable for every WB-12 certification issued.

Is this for you?

We work with a specific kind of person. Here's how to know if that's you.

We're a fit if you:

  • Run a business with real revenue, or a product with real users
  • Have software your operation depends on and nobody clearly owns
  • Built something fast with AI tools and need to know what you're actually holding
  • Want one partner accountable for the thing, not four vendors pointing at each other
  • Understand that the expensive option is rarely the one with the invoice attached

We're not a fit if you:

  • Are at idea stage with no proof anyone wants this yet
  • Want the cheapest quote in the inbox
  • Want a spec followed without pushback
  • Want to hand it over and never speak to us again
  • Need it done in under two weeks

Two builds a month. That's the whole capacity.

One senior team, one product at a time, held to twelve standards. That's the real limit and I won't pretend otherwise.

FAQ

You can, for the first version. AI tools are excellent at producing something that looks finished fast. What they don't do is the twelve things that matter once real customers and real money touch it, auth that actually restricts access, data that stays consistent under failure, a deploy you can roll back from. That's the gap WB-12 measures, and it's usually invisible until it costs you a contract or a rebuild.

It's fixed, not hourly, and it replaces roughly $55,000 of separately-priced work, strategy, design, engineering, security, launch and 90 days of us running it for you. A single senior engineer costs $95,000 a year and can't do half this list alone. Compare it to the cost of getting it wrong: one lost enterprise deal, or a $50,000+ rebuild.

No. That's usually a head start, not a write-off. We run the WB-12 audit against what exists, keep what holds, and rebuild only what doesn't, usually auth, data integrity and the deploy pipeline. Most AI-built MVP rescues cost less than starting from zero.

You're not paying to own it, you already do. RUN pays for someone answering the 2am call, patching the dependency with the CVE, and reviewing the architecture as you grow. You can cancel any month and take everything with you. Most clients don't, because the alternative is doing it themselves.

You own the repo, the infrastructure and the credentials from day one, that's the never-hostage guarantee. If Witsberry vanished tomorrow, you'd hand the repo to any competent engineer and they'd be productive in a day, because it's built and documented to a published standard, not to whatever was in one person's head.

That's who this is built for. You'll never hire an engineer, write a spec or open a terminal. You'll get a plain-English verdict, a fixed price, a date in writing, and a person, not a ticket queue, to call when something matters.
